Stor-Age is pleased to announce that it has opened the new Stor-Age Gardens. The new facility, branded and managed by Stor-Age Self Storage, is situated at 121 Roeland Street and enjoys prime exposure onto the M3 highway, one of the prime entry points to the city of Cape Town.
At a cost of R80m+, the four storey Stor-Age Gardens is South Africa's leading self storage facility and it is particularly well suited to serve Eastern City and City Bowl residents in Tamboerskloof, Fresnaye, Oranjezicht, Gardens, Vredehoek, Woodstock, Observatory and of course the City Bowl itself.
The third generation big box store, designed by MLB Architects in conjunction with Stor-Age, is a modern state-of-the-art self storage facility comprising 600 self storage units ranging in size from three to forty square metres. This will increase to 750+ self storage units on completion. Construction on the new store began in April 2010 and was completed in December 2010. The store officially began trading on 17 December and it has been exceptionally well received by the target market.
The development has been planned to allow for a second phase consisting of a further three floors of commercial or residential space.
