Arbor Week Highlights Importance Of Curb Appeal For Self Storage
Tomorrow is Spring Day and the start of Arbor Month with the first week labelled as Arbor Week in South Africa. National Arbor Week serves to promote awareness for the need to plant and maintain indigenous trees throughout South Africa. Any self storage company who knows what they are doing will tell you that having a green entrance affects how your potential and existing customers interact with your self storage store.

Plants and trees give a settled and established feel to self storage, giving the customer a sense of security and the assurance that the goods in self storage will be looked after just as well as all the greenery on site. Take a look at a few of the pictures of our stores in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Pretoria above and below. We take great pride in the look and feel of our self storage stores and understand that well-tended greenery is a great part in renting self storage units.

RIP Neil Armstong
Neil Armstrong was the first man to visit space and walk on the moon. RIP Neil Armstrong. He will forever hold a special space in our hearts as a pioneer for the entire human race and for evoking emotions of courage and bravery. Now he will have his own little space that many will be able to visit and pay their respects to a very popular gentleman. All though the loss of this great man is to be mourned we hope he will be remembered fondly and with a smile on our faces.

Astronaut in space

At some stage in your life, you'll probably need self storage space for some of your belongings. The moon undoubtedly has plenty of space but will not be as practical or convenient as a self storage unit. The security of your goods on the moon would also be excellent and although many self storage facilities strive to ensure your goods are secure many would struggle to meet those high standards. However popping in to fetch an item you need for the weekend may be a little more arduous.

Here are a few other recent items to keep a smile on your face when thinking of the great, late Neil Armstrong.

This year we have already lost Michael Jackson and now Neil Armstrong, we are quickly running out of moonwalkers!

Take a look at this cartoon from The Telegraph.

The event is sure to have plenty of valuable insights and fun activities for moms and expecting moms.

Also in Johannesburg is The Wedding Expo at the Coca-Cola Dome in Northriding in Randburg. "A sigh of relief can be heard by brides-to-be throughout Gauteng as time for the 16th The Wedding Expo approaches. Tickets are R100 and there will be a coffee shop where you can try all the wedding cakes.

In Pretoria is the Spar Ladies 10km and 5km Challenge. The event starts at 14:00 in West Street in Centurion. "Please also note that a part of South Street will also be closed for traffic from 14h00 and that the Tshwane Metro Police will be assisting us to ensure that traffic, although impaired, will still flow as smoothly possible."

For the Capetonians you don't have to feel left out as the Cape Homemakers Expo is on this weekend at the CTICC. If you are doing any renovations, looking to direct or need that little DIY touch to make your better home then this is the show to be at.
